In 2013, the international chain Ramada signed a franchise agreement for a period of 5 years with the renowned 5 star hotel Trimontsium in Plovdiv. The hotel was built in 1956 and it is located in the heart of the city, within walking distance from commercial, administrative and cultural sites. The Viennese architecture combined with its excellent location quickly turned the hotel into one of the city's symbols.
Ramada Plovdiv Trimontium Hotel was completely renovated in 2008 and today it has 5 floors and 158 rooms. The hotel features the second largest casino in Bulgaria, two restaurants, conference halls, an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor pool built on authentic Roman ruins used as a decor.
Ramada is part of the Wyndham Group and with its more than 800 hotels in 63 countries is one of the most recognizable brands in the tourism industry. In 2016, the company won the award for the fastest growing hotel chain in Europe.
